Harlin Named President of U.S. Xpress

Ray Harlin has been promoted to president of U.S. Xpress Enterprises, the truckload carrier said Tuesday.

He succeeds Patrick Quinn, the company’s co-founder, who passed away in December.

Harlin joined U.S. Xpress in 1997 as an executive vice president and the company’s chief financial officer. In addition to his new duties as president of U.S. Xpress, he will continue in his position as the company’s CFO.

“Ray has a proven track record as an effective leader, and we believe he will excel in his new position with the company,” U.S. Xpress Chairman and CEO Max Fuller said in a statement.

U.S. Xpress is ranked No. 15 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
