Heniff Acquires EZ Alternative to Expand Bulk Chemical Services
Heniff Transportation Systems, headquartered in Oak Brook, Illinois, has acquired EZ Alternative Transport, to expand the buyer’s chemical bulk hauling capabilities in Texas.
The statement from Heniff didn’t disclose the terms.
With the acquisition of EZ Alternative Transport, based in Nederland, Texas, Heniff now operates 14 terminals in the Midwest, Gulf Coast, Southeast and Northeast, including more than 200 trucks in the Gulf Coast region.
“This acquisition opens the doors to some terrific new accounts and an ability to offer additional capacity to our current key accounts,” Heniff owner and President Bob Heniff said. “We’re in a tremendous position as we continue to grow our network footprint in the Gulf region.”
