Hub Group’s fourth-quarter profit rose on higher intermodal and logistics revenue.
Net income rose to $17 million, or 46 cents per share, from $12.5 million, or 34 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue rose 59% to $763 million.
Intermodal revenue jumped 23% to $419 million, led by a 16% volume increase.
Truck brokerage revenue rose 3% to $82 million, while its Unyson Logistics unit’s revenue rose 27% to $76 million.
Full-year net income rose to $58.2 million, or $1.57 per share, from $43.5 million, or $1.16. Revenue rose 50% to $2.8 billion
