Intermec’s Second-Quarter Loss Narrows

Supply chain technology firm Intermec Inc. said its second-quarter net earnings loss was $2.7 million, or 4 cents per share, compared with a loss of $6.5 million, or 11 cents, a year ago.

Revenue grew to $161.2 million, up 2% from $157.7 million a year ago, the company said in a statement.

Intermec's loss adjusted for impairment and restructuring charges was $2.2 million, or 3 cents a share, compared with $1.9 million, or 3 cents, a year ago.
