Internet Truckstop Adds RMIS

Internet Truckstop said it has reached an agreement with Registry Monitoring Insurance Service to offer services such as tracking of carrier insurance data that can be used by the load-board operator’s customers.

The statement from Internet Truckstop, New Plymouth, Idaho, said that RMIS has more than 100,000 carriers in its database that can give information to brokers, shippers and freight forwarders about the insurance status of fleets offering their services through Internet Truckstop.

“RMIS is a company with a proven record in delivering quality service to the industry, and we are very pleased to be working with them to bring a package of new services to our members,” said Scott Moscrip, CEO of Internet Truckstop.

Beginning July 18, the load-board operator introduced a service that provides insurance monitoring as well as carrier performance, operating authority history, a directory of carriers and information about fleet records on the federal Compliance Safety Accountability program.

“Internet Truckstop is committed to delivering quality products to the transportation industry, and we are happy to be working with them to provide the insurance monitoring solution that is in such high demand from the transportation industry,” said Hayden Landon, president of RMIS.
