Two technology companies recently reported quarterly results reflecting improved performance.
Iteris Inc., which provides traffic management services, said its income from continuing operations rose to $550,000, or 2 cents per share, from $108,000, or less than 1 cent per share, a year ago.
Revenue rose 8% to $15.5 million for the fiscal second quarter ended Sept. 30, the Santa Ana, Calif., company said, adding that its order backlog also has reached a record $41.2 million.
EBE Technologies said its revenue reached a record in the current fiscal year, marking the fourth consecutive year with increases of 30% or more.
Privately held EBE did not disclose precise revenue amounts, but the East Moline, Ill., company said 57% of revenue was generated by applications created in the past four years and reflected the addition of 30 customers.
EBE’s specialty is enterprise solutions to streamline business processes, and its customer list now includes more than 500 companies.
