Iteris’ Income Drops in Fiscal 4Q

Iteris Inc., which makes lane-departure warning systems for the trucking industry, said its fiscal fourth-quarter profit fell from a year ago.

Net income was $807,000, or 2 cents per share, down from $8 million, or 23 cents, a year earlier, the company said Thursday.

Net sales and contract revenue fell 8.6% to $15 million for the fiscal quarter ended March 31, Iteris said.

For the fiscal year ended March 31, income dropped to $2.2 million, or 6 cents per share, from $10.5 million, or 30 cents, the previous year.
