J.B. Hunt Transport Services recently announced a series of executive appointments.
Nick Hobbs, the company’s COO and a 40-year J.B. Hunt veteran, will take on the additional role of president of Highway and Final Mile Services. In this capacity, he will oversee the Integrated Capacity Solutions and Truckload divisions and lead the company’s safety and maintenance operations, which are managed by Greer Woodruff, executive vice president of safety, sustainability and maintenance.
Brad Hicks, who has been with the company for 28 years, will become president of Dedicated Contract Services. Previously, Hicks served as EVP of people and president of Highway Services, where he helped expand the division’s market presence and strengthen customer relationships.
David Keefauver, a 29-year company veteran, will assume the role of EVP of people. Formerly EVP of Dedicated Contract Services, Keefauver will focus on boosting efficiency across the company’s personnel operations.
“These changes align the strengths and experience of our executives to lead and grow these services into the future,” J.B. Hunt President and CEO Shelley Simpson said. She noted that the appointments will help position J.B. Hunt to capture additional market share as freight demand normalizes.
J.B. Hunt ranks No. 3 on the Transport Topics Top 100 list of the largest for-hire carriers in North America and holds the same spot on the TT Top 100 logistics companies list.
