J.J. Keller, Velociti Partner to Simplify E-Log Deployment
J.J. Keller & Associates Inc. has partnered with Velociti Inc. to make its electronic logging system easier for carriers to implement.
The companies are offering a service that provides users of J.J. Keller’s Encompass system with full implementation support, including installation and configuration of J.J. Keller’s electronic logging devices and the J.J. Keller Mobile E-log application, as well as driver training.
Velociti provides deployment services for a broad range of transportation technology.
“We understand that the success of a fleet’s transition to E-logs lies in their ability to properly manage the change across their entire organization,” Aric Thoreson, J.J. Keller’s senior implementation manager, said in the joint announcement. “Leveraging Velociti’s expertise allows our customers to remove most of the burden of E-log implementation and stay focused on their core business.”
“We’re pleased to play an important role in ensuring Encompass system users are able to quickly maximize the return on their E-logs investment while meeting the ELD mandate,” Velociti President Deryk Powell said.
J.J. Keller’s Encompass system gives fleets the option of using drivers’ Apple or Android smart phones and tablets for E-logs, or the J.J. Keller compliance tablet, a Samsung Galaxy device that comes preloaded with J.J. Keller Mobile applications.
Different editions of the Encompass system can provide E-logs only or broader management of fleet compliance and performance.
