LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A tongue-in-cheek admonition of “for your eyes only” accompanied Kenworth Truck Co.’s unveiling of its advanced technology truck at the exhibition.

The T2000-75 Aerodyne was packed with electronic and high-tech features that would make an astronaut envious.

Kenworth, a division of Paccar, gave an initial peek to a select few, but later put the prototype on the showroom floor for all to see.

General manager Ed Caudill said the overall focus of the truck is on communications and information technology.

The vehicle features an in-dash computer display, a global positioning system for navigation, sophisticated electronic diagnostics, an electronic vision system, a 42-inch flat panel television as well as access to the Internet and cable television.
