Lineage Logistics said it has acquired two cold-storage facilities in Santa Cruz County, California, from Dreisbach Enterprises. Terms were not disclosed.
The facilities have 201,000 square feet of refrigerated storage space and include blast-freezing services for the area’s seafood and strawberry industry.
Linage now has 550 million cubic feet in 104 facilities in 21 states, the second-largest refrigerated warehouse network worldwide, according to the company.
“We have established great customer relationships and operational familiarity in Watsonville, so this acquisition to enhance local capacity aligns our goals to grow and provide more benefits to our customers,” said Kevin Marchetti, managing director of Lineage’s parent company, Bay Grove Capital, a San Francisco investment firm.
