Logistics.com Gets New CEO

Yossi Sheffi will step down as chief executive officer of Logistics.com and hand the reins over to John Lanigan, a former Schneider National executive.

Lanigan has been the Burlington, Mass., company’s chief operating officer for nine months. Sheffi, who took a one-year leave of absence from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, will return to the school as a professor of engineering systems and director of the Center for Transportation Studies. He will remain as Logistics.com’s chairman of the board.

Carl Drisko, former executive vice president of technology and product strategy for Logistics.com, was named president.
