Love’s Acquires Speedco Quick Lube Shops from Bridgestone Americas

Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores has finalized its acquisition of Speedco, a national network providing quick lube and inspection services to the trucking industry, from Bridgestone Americas.

The transaction, announced Sept. 25, will expand Love’s Truck Tire Care service with 52 new locations, bringing the number of Love’s-operated tire service and lube facilities to more than 320, according to the Oklahoma City-based company.

“As a leader in the oil change industry, Speedco brings an important service to our customers. We look forward to serving drivers at Speedco locations and growing the business,” Tom Love, founder and executive chairman for Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores, said in a statement.

In all, Love’s operates 440 locations in 41 states and added tire care services in 2008.
