Lumileds Adds New Line of Truck Headlight Bulbs

Lumileds Holdings announced a new line of Philips MasterDuty headlight bulbs for Classes 2-8 commercial vehicles.
“We developed the Philips MasterDuty line to provide commercial vehicles and fleets with an extremely durable bulb that helps save money on maintenance costs. The incredibly long life of MasterDuty headlights also helps protect drivers from the legal liability of running with just one headlight,” Product Marketing Manager Aubry Baugh said in a release.
The key benefit of the Philips MasterDuty headlight bulbs is vibration resistance, according to the Farmington Hills, Mich.-based company. The bulbs have been engineered to withstand bumps and the uneven road surfaces frequently traveled by medium- and heavy-duty vehicles and to endure a wide range of vibration frequencies. They are built with a high-performance glass that withstands temperature and pressure changes. — Transport Topics
