Mack Showcases Pink Truck for Breast Cancer Awareness
Mack Trucks Inc. is displaying a pink Pinnacle Axle Back model at its headquarters in Greensboro, North Carolina, to help increase breast cancer awareness.
The pink Pinnacle will be on display through October and is one of the activities the manufacturer has planned to raise awareness including a 5-kilometer run, walk and encouraging employees to wear pink on Fridays.
Mack recently made the mDrive automated manual transmission standard equipment on the Pinnacle highway model. The company said the decision reflects its stance that the in-house AMT is the best available option for fuel economy and driver satisfaction.
Mack is part of the Volvo Group, manufacturer of heavy-duty trucks, buses and construction equipment.
