Management Team of PTL Buys Company From Magnate Worldwide

Premium Transportation Logistics announced its senior management team — current President Jeff Curry, Operations Manager Keith Avery and expedited transportation sales veteran, Brad Kelley — has acquired PTL from Magnate Worldwide.

PTL, a Toledo, Ohio-based company, will continue to serve the expedited ground market in North America, the company said in a news release.

Curry is a veteran of both the finance and transportation industries, serving previously as president of Express-1, a large motor carrier sold to XPO Logistics in 2011, according to the news release.

Avery is the former vice president of Express-1.

PTL also will have an advisory board that includes former Express-1 CEO Mike Welch, former PTL chief operating officer Jim Welch and John Welch, former XPO chief financial officer.

PTL was founded in 2002 and serves the entire North American market, the company said. — Transport Topics
