Mckinney Rentals Opens New Division to Sell Trailers

Mckinney Trailer Rentals is expanding its operation into trailer sales, the company announced Feb. 27.
The Brea, Calif.-based company typically provides over-the-road trailer rentals and leases.
“Mckinney Trailer Rentals prides itself on being a solutions provider to the transportation industry,” Mckinney President Dave Tavares said in a statement. “We have listened to our customers’ need for used late model trailers. When renting or leasing is not an option for our customers, Mckinney will be able to source and sell equipment directly to our valued customers.”
Mckinney already has a few types of trailers ready for purchase, including late-model reefers and dry vans, along with specialty equipment. Winston Madrigal will be leading the new division as director of trailer sales.

Mckinney Trailer Sales is located in Fontana, Calif. The company already has locations for its rentals and leases side in Washington, Oregon, Colorado, California, Arizona and Texas. There it rents dry vans, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, curtain vans, chassis and storage trailers. — Transport Topics
