McLeod Updates MPact Market Analysis Tool

McLeod Software has released an updated version of its MPact PRO market analysis tool, designed to give motor carriers and freight brokers deeper insights into rate trends and opportunities to improve profitability.
MPact PRO, accessible through McLeod’s LoadMaster and PowerBroker transportation management systems, breaks down nationwide truckload lanes in great depth to provide customers with a more precise understanding of capacity, volume and the rate landscape.
The updated product allows users to differentiate between spot and contract rates, the Birmingham, Ala.-based software company said in an Aug. 17 announcement.
McLeod customers also can use the software tool to find opportunities to earn more with their existing business by analyzing factors such as equipment type, origin and destination markets, length of haul, commodity, market buy and sell rate segments, transaction types and profit.
