Meritor Inc. announced a 2019 aftermarket training series. The global aftermarket supplier will host more than 12 regional training events in the United States and Canada, offering support for parts, sales and service employees.
According to Meritor, the yearlong initiative is designed to boost customer satisfaction and provide attendees with skills and product information.
“Today’s heavy-duty truck service and parts personnel need a variety of training options based on their skill and technology levels,” said Joe Baumer, aftermarket training manager. “In addition to our on-site training events, Meritor offers an array of online and interactive distance training opportunities.”
Meritor’s online training tool, BullPen, provides instant product information and 24/7 training, giving management the tools to successfully supervise.
Meritor also will host live training groups through the program, and online courses will be offered. Interactive distance training courses are hosted by Meritor professionals and are put on in an environment that is interactive and engaging for participants, according to the company.
