Minimizer Acquires Premier Manufacturing

Commercial vehicle aftermarket parts and accessories manufacturer Minimizer has acquired Premier Manufacturing Co., which makes separate aftermarket tractor-trailer parts.

Terms were not disclosed. Capital Partners, a Connecticut investment firm with a history of partnering in heavy-duty truck parts companies focused on growth, assisted in the acquisition, according to Blooming Prairie, Minn.-based Minimizer.

Premier products will continue to be sold under the Premier brand and remain based in Tualatin, Ore. Premier has been in business since 1924. Its product line includes couplings/pintle hitches, drawbar eyes/lunette eyes, hinge assemblies, front end assemblies, dolly jacks and accessories.



Minimizer makes light kits, mud flaps, tool boxes, workbenches, fenders, custom molded floor mats, truck mattresses and a truck seat system. — Transport Topics
