New Pilot Travel Center Opens in Missouri

Pilot Co. opened a new facility in Faucett, Mo., the company announced Dec. 6.
The Pilot Travel Center includes truck parking, restrooms with showers, food and gear. It is located at the site of the former Ferris Truck Stop. The company is celebrating with a ribbon-cutting Dec. 9.
“We’ve been serving travelers in the state of Missouri for nearly 30 years and look forward to fueling more journeys with the opening of our 23rd location in Faucett,” Chief Operator Jason Nordin said. “We appreciate the history of the Ferris Truck Stop and are passionate about being that friendly place the community and drivers can count on for all their travel and trucking needs.”

Pilot also will present a $5,000 check to Mid-Buchanan R-V School District during the ceremony. The company said it is part of its long-standing commitment to support the communities it serves.
“Our team members, including some familiar faces that worked at the Ferris Truck Stop, are excited to welcome guests to experience everything our new travel center has to offer,” Nordin said.
The Pilot Travel Center is more than 12,800 square feet and offers 10 gasoline fueling positions and eight diesel lanes with high-speed pumps, 55 truck parking spots, driver’s lounge and laundry. It also will have a Taco Bell with drive-thru, grab-and-go offerings and its own signature coffee brand. — Transport Topics
