Odyssey Completes Acquisition of AFF Global Logistics
Odyssey Logistics & Technology Corp. has completed the acquisition of AFF Global Logistics for $465 million.
The deal is part of a flurry of recent acquisitions involving freight forwarders.
Odyssey CEO Bob Shellman said the Multimodal Global Solutions division was established to integrate the business of Odyssey and AFF’s business units under the direction of Keith Hancock, who previously served as president of Odyssey’s Capital Transportation Solutions division.
Based in Danbury, Conn., Odyssey provides transportation management services to shippers throughout North America, Europe and Asia and is majority owned by investment firm The Jordan Co. Odyssey ranks No. 50 on the Transport Topics Top 50 list of largest logistics companies in North America and No. 47 on the TT list of largest ocean freight forwarders.
