Oil rose for a third day, finishing the trading day over $107 a barrel for the first time in 10 days, Bloomberg reported.

Crude futures gained 82 cents to settle the week at $107.40 on the New York Mercantile Exchange, following a government report Friday that showed positive jobs growth, including in trucking.

Oil had topped out at a 10-month high closing price of $109.77 a barrel on Feb. 24 before receding to between $105 and $110 for the past two weeks.

Diesel has topped $4 a gallon for the past two weeks, and the Department of Energy will release its weekly survey of diesel and gasoline pump prices Monday in Washington.
