Fleet management solutions company Omnitracs has extended its partnership with transportation management provider McLeod Software.

The arrangement, announced May 20, is intended to deliver more functionality and increased flexibility to fleets globally. Specifically, it will integrate the McLeod LoadMaster transportation management system to enhance the interoperability of the Omnitracs One platform.

“McLeod Software and Omnitracs offer powerful solutions on their own, but together we are enabling our customers to run a more streamlined and customer-focused business,” Omnitracs Chief Product Officer Paul Nagy said in a statement.

Omnitracs One is a mobility platform that enables applications to streamline processes for drivers, the back office and customers. The McLeod LoadMaster is a fully integrated trucking dispatch operations management system and accounting software solution.

Omnitracs said in the announcement that the partnership builds on the history of certified integrated products they have with McLeod Software. The companies now share more than 350 actively integrated companies, which is inclusive of 67,000 vehicles.
