Organizers Cancel 'Truckcan' Show
The show won’t go on as the organizer of Truckcan, touted as the “Biggest Truck Show in Canada,” pulled the plug on Aug. 4.
“We don’t think the Ontario market can support a show every year,” he said.

Dmg world media announced it canceled the exhibition to focus on its Expocam 2001, a trade show scheduled on the alternate year from the truck show. Truckcan was planned for Oct. 26-28 at the International Centre in Toronto, with Expocam to follow during October 2001 in Montreal.
Chris Seeney, sector manager for dmg, said the company was only “postponing” the show and would be looking at options for future truck shows in Ontario.
