Oshkosh Reports Higher 3Q Earnings

Specialty truck maker Oshkosh Truck Corp.’s fiscal third-quarter improved and the company raised its earnings outlook for the year.

Its third-quarter profit rose to $90.6 million or $1.21 a share, from $53.4 million or 72 cents last year, Oshkosh said Wednesday.

Sales more than doubled to $1.85 billion for the quarter ended June 30.

Oshkosh raised its full-year guidance for the year to $3.35 to $3.40 a share, from an earlier projection of $3.15 to $3.25 per share.
