Paccar Moving Dynacraft Division to Texas as Divisional Headquarters

Dynacraft’s newly built truck manufacturing facility in McKinney, Texas, will become home to its divisional headquarters, a relocation that will bring 50 new jobs by early next year.
The company’s headquarters is moving from Algona, Wash.
Dynacraft, a division of truck maker Paccar, invested $31 million in a new 184,000-square-foot facility that opened in October. It makes and distributes components for the parent company’s well-known Peterbilt, Kenworth and DAF truck brands.
“This is a company that is thriving, investing in our community and has a worldwide reach,” McKinney Mayor George Fuller said in a statment.
Dynacraft general manager Paul McCormick said the relocation “reinforces our commitment to the continued growth of Dynacraft in McKinney.” The company pledged to add 200 jobs over six years when it opened the facility.
Paccar, which recorded revenue of $23 billion last year, also operates a Peterbilt truck plant in Denton.
