Paccar Sets Executive Promotions

Truck maker Paccar Inc. said the company’s president, Tom Plimpton, will become vice chairman, and Jim Cardillo will become its president, effective Sept. 1.

Plimpton has been with Paccar for 31 years and has been its president since 2003.

Cardillo joined Paccar in 1990 and has had senior management roles with Peterbilt, DAF and Paccar’s technical centers.

Mike Tembreull will be retiring as vice chairman in January, after being with the company for 38 years, the company said.



Paccar is the parent company of U.S. truck makers Kenworth Truck Co. and Peterbilt Motors Co., and Europe-based DAF Trucks.
