Palmer Trucks Adds Indiana Dealership

Palmer Trucks announced its dealership in Louisville, Ky., was scheduled to open a new Kenworth Truck Co. parts and service dealership in Sellersburg, Ind., with limited services May 18 and with tentative plans to offer full service beginning June 1.
The store will comply with Palmer Trucks’ social distancing and precautionary guidelines. It is located west of Exit 7 on Interstate 65 near TRP of Sellersburg, which Palmer Trucks opened in 2019.
“We are excited about the opportunity to serve our customers with safety as a top priority. Especially during the COVID-19 situation, we strive to foster a safe environment for all,” Palmer Trucks Chief Operating Officer Tom Kapitan said in a release.
“While we look forward to welcoming customers to an opening celebration once it is safe to do so, we will be providing our world-class service with safety and existing precautions top of mind,”
Indianapolis-based Palmer Trucks, founded in 1965 and family run, has 650 team members and 11 dealerships throughout Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio. — Transport Topics
