P.A.M.’s Third-Quarter Profit Improves

P.A.M. Transportation Services said its third-quarter net income more than doubled from a year ago.

The truckload carrier reported a profit of $2.4 million, or 28 cents per share, compared with $880,907, or 10 cents a share, in the 2012 quarter, the company said in an Oct. 25 statement.

Revenue grew to $101.9 million, from $94.5 million last year, P.A.M. reported.

“We are pleased with our recent quarterly performance, which affirms some of the strategies we have implemented in order to achieve consistent profitability,” P.A.M. President Daniel Cushman said in the statement.



P.A.M. is ranked No. 65 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
