Pete Buttigieg, Robin Hutcheson to Speak at MCE

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg will address attendees Oct. 25 at American Trucking Associations’ Management Conference & Exhibition in San Diego, ATA announced Oct. 13.

He is scheduled to speak at 1:45 p.m. PDT at the ATA Board of Directors meeting. The event is taking place at the San Diego Convention Center.

Also scheduled to appear at MCE is Robin Hutcheson, who recently was confirmed as administrator of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. Hutcheson is scheduled to provide an FMCSA update on Oct. 22 at 3:20 p.m. PDT.

“ATA is honored to have both the U.S. transportation secretary and FMCSA administrator at our annual meeting,” said ATA President Chris Spear. “ATA has worked closely with the secretary and administrator on truck parking, supply chain challenges, driver training, infrastructure investment as well as many safety issues.”
