PGT Trucking Inc. has opened a terminal in Phoenix and relocated one to Fort Smith, Ark., to support increased market demands in those regions.

The Phoenix terminal is located on the north side of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.

The Fort Smith terminal replaced one in Poteau, Okla.

“It is conveniently located right off of Interstate 540 and U.S. Highway 71, making it more accessible to our drivers,” PGT Chief Operating Officer Chad Marsilio said in a release. “It is closer to PGT’s customer network, which gives us more freight options. The on-site shop provides drivers with direct maintenance support and the terminal is run by the same great staff we had in Poteau.”

Both locations are actively hiring CDL Class A flatbed drivers to support their growth, according to the Aliquippa, Pa.-based flatbed carrier. PGT operates in excess of 1,000 power units and more than 1,500 trailers.

The company noted 2021 marks its 40th year in operation, and it has about 30 company and agent locations nationwide.

PGT Holdings ranks No. 98 on the Transport Topics Top 100 list of the largest for-hire carriers in North America. — Transport Topics
