Truck stop operator Pilot Flying J said it has added seven locations in North America and added new features to enhance drivers’ experience on the road.
The new locations opened in the first quarter include five in the United States and two in Canada. U.S. locations include Carol Stream, Illinois, near Chicago, Lebanon, Ohio, Orland, California, Marion, North Carolina, and Schulenberg, Texas. The Canadian stops are in Balgonie, Saskatchewan and Whitecourt, Alberta.
“2016 is slated to be an incredibly important year for Pilot Flying J,” said Ken Parent, Pilot Flying J’s president. “The new locations we’ve opened during the first quarter of 2016 demonstrate our commitment to connecting people and places with comfort, care and a smile at every stop.”
The company also said Goodyear Commercial Tire and Service Centers were opened at Eloy, Arizona, South Beloit, Illinois, and at Walcott, Iowa. Pilot Flying J, Knoxville, Tennessee, now has more than 650 travel center locations.
