PS Logistics Completes Robinette Acquisition

Flatbed transportation solution provider PS Logistics has announced that its subsidiary, Loudon County Trucking, completed its acquisition of Robinette Trucking Inc. and Robinette Properties Inc., according to a Dec. 20 press release. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Robinette is headquartered in Mt. Pleasant, Tenn., and employs approximately 50 drivers. PS Logistics will use the acquisition to strengthen operations in the Southeast and Midwest, the release stated.

The Robinette acquisition is the latest in a string of PS Logistics partnerships within the flatbed truck segment. Since 2007, it has acquired 14 trucking and brokerage organizations.

PS Logistics was founded in 2004. It provides full-service transportation services, including asset-based transportation, brokerage, 3PL and supply chain services. — Transport Topics
