Renewable Energy Group Names Cynthia Warner President, CEO

Cynthia Warner has been named president and CEO of Renewable Energy Group Inc., a producer of biomass-based diesel and renewable chemicals, effective Jan. 14 when she will also join its board.

She succeeds Randy Howard, who has served in the posts since July 2017.

Most recently, Warner served as executive vice president of operations for Andeavor, an integrated marketing, logistics and refining company.

Howard will remain on the board and assist in the transition at the Ames, Iowa-based company.

“This growing company is well-positioned to meet the rising global demand for cleaner, competitive low-carbon-fuel solutions,” Warner said in a release.
