R+L Carriers, a motor carrier and logistics company based in Wilmington, Ohio, said it reached an agreement with Canadian motor carrier Day & Ross Freight to offer expedited services to and from Canada.
The two companies will use eight gateways linking neighboring regions and 40 terminals spread across all 10 Canadian provinces, they said in a release.
R+L said it operates 15 truckload operations across the United States as well as offers less-than-truckload services in all 50 states.
Day & Ross Freight is an arm of Day & Ross Transportation Group, based in Hartland, New Brunswick, which itself is a wholly owned subsidiary of McCain Foods Limited. It ranks No. 23 among the Transport Topics Top 50 Dedicated Contract Carriers.
The group said it has 3,500 owner-operators and 3,300 company-owned trucks and trailers, in addition to offering a variety of logistics solutions.
