American Trucking Associations has distributed public service announcements featuring Road Team Captain Eddie Roberts to top country music stations and newspapers across the nation, said Mike Russell, spokesman for the organization.
“This is the time of year when people hit the road in increasing numbers for holiday travel and shopping,” said ATA President Walter B. McCormick Jr. “Our professional truck drivers want to share what they have learned to help make the highways safer for everyone. They know an alert driver is a safer driver.”
