Ryder Renames Contract Carriage Division Ryder Dedicated
Ryder System said Monday it was renaming its Dedicated Contract Carriage division Ryder Dedicated, and that it is adding a new technology platform to the service.
Ryder, which is rolling out the relaunch in the first half of this year, said the rebranded division will focus on specialized handling and will use a new proprietary technology platform to better optimize assets, routes and service levels for customers.
The division will allow fleets to “quickly adapt to changing staffing needs, drive efficiencies through optimized networks and leading technology and mitigate risk,” said John Sonia, Ryder Dedicated’s senior vice president.
Ryder Supply Chain Solutions is ranked No. 10 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
