Truckload carrier Schneider has opened a 147,500-square-foot warehouse in Port Reading, New Jersey, to serve shippers utilizing Northeastern ports.
“In this new location, we’re able to match up port services with outbound truckload, intermodal and team expedited services, offering a seamless approach to customers’ port-to-door requirements,” John Miller, vice president of commercial development, said in a statement.
Schneider ranks No. 7 on the Transport Topics Top 100 list of the largest U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
Additionally, the warehouse is positioned near the Port of New York and New Jersey, the New Jersey Turnpike, Newark Liberty International Airport and other key parcel delivery facilities, according to the the Green Bay, Wisconsin-based company.
