Mack Australia delivered the world’s most expensive Mack truck to Malaysia’s Sultan of Johor, local media reported.

The Mack Super-Liner took about a year to build and includes amenities like a solid-gold tiger hood ornament and 72,000 stiches of gold thread.

The price tag is being kept secret but it is reported to beat the previous record of A$481,000 for a customized truck.

Sultan Ibrahim Ismail ordered the truck to tow his boat around the country, but its first drive will be a charity run after it is shipped to Malaysia later this month.

“This is my dream — am I smiling?” the Sultan told reporters in Brisbane, where the “palace truck” was unveiled.
