Southeastern Deploys DVIR Software

Less-than-truckload carrier Southeastern Freight Lines said it has completed a fleetwide deployment of Innovative Software Engineering’s electronic driver vehicle inspection reporting software.

The product, generally called DVIR, will process 14 million driver vehicle inspections a year and eliminate more than 9 million paper forms, Southeastern said.

The hauler began using ISE’s Electronic Driver Log product in 2010 and said the software processes more than 29,000 paperless driver logs a month.

SEFL is ranked No. 27 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
