Stoughton Buys 17 Acres Across From Plant
Stoughton Trailers purchased 17 acres of vacant real estate across the street from its Brodhead, Wisc, manufacturing plant, parent company STI Holdings Inc. said.
Stoughton plans to use the land to support its manufacturing operations in Brodhead, the company said, and the purchase also provides for potential expansion.
The facility has more than 100 employees and manufactures semi-truck trailers for over-the-road trucking. In all, the Stoughton, Wis.-based company has more than 1,500 employees at three locations.
Stoughton said it is a top-10 supplier of semi-truck trailers globally, and its products include agricultural trailers and other specialty transportation equipment.
