Strick Trailers announced the addition of InfoScan quick response codes to all new trailers to help speed service response times and increase customer vehicle operating time.

Each trailer will include a unique QR code with InfoScan technology printed on the vehicle identification number tag, which is installed on the trailer’s front panel. The technology enables operators to be connected to Strick’s website and retrieve specific trailer information. The new VIN tag is designed using a proprietary printing process that makes the tag easier to read and is environmentally stable, ensuring longevity of the tag, according to the Monroe, Ind.-based company.

“Our goal is to maximize operating time on the road and reduce time on the phone or in a service bay,” Director of Engineering Justin Bell said in a news release.

Strick is scheduled to add a second InfoScan QR code early in 2019 that will provide aftermarket parts support.

Strick Trailers specializes in sheet and post dry vans and produces everything from 28-foot pup trailers to 60-foot drop deck trailers.
