Swift Outlines 3Q Earnings Expectations

The disclosure, made at an investor meeting late last week, indicates that earnings will range between $27.9 million and $32.1 million, based on the number of shares outstanding as of June 30.

Swift’s disclosure follows a similar one by fellow truckload carrier Werner Enterprises, which said a week earlier that its third-quarter earnings would lag expectations because of rising costs.
