Renaat Ver Eecke, an executive at Navman for more than a decade, has been named the new president of Teletrac Navman. Ver Eecke joined Navman in 2005 and served as a general manager of Navman Wireless and vice president of global services during his career, according to a company statement.
“Under his leadership, we expect Teletrac Navman to continue to accelerate above market growth while we continue to build and develop our combined team. Please join me in congratulating Ver Eecke on his new role and in supporting him as we go forward,” said Martin Gafinowitz, president of Gilbarco Inc., which oversees Teletrac Navman for its parent company, the Danaher Corp.
Upon the merger of Teletrac and Navman Wireless in late 2014, Ver Eecke served as vice president and chief service officer for the joint business, based in Glenview, Illinois. Teletrac Navman offers GPS-based fleet optimization products and services, including real-time vehicle tracking, electronic logging, communications and analytics, according to a company description. The company adds that it currently tracks more than 500,000 vehicles owned by more than 40,000 organizations on six continents.
