Telematics provider Telogis said it is collaborating with Isuzu to develop connected-vehicle products and services for the medium-duty truck maker.
The partnership will deliver cost savings and operational efficiencies for Isuzu customers, said Susan Heystee, executive vice president of worldwide sales at Telogis.
“This next-generation technology brings Isuzu Truck built-in connectivity and intelligence that can only be achieved through this kind of collaboration with the manufacturer,” she said in the Oct. 23 announcement.
The newly announced collaboration expands the list of Telogis’ partnerships with original equipment manufacturers. The technology supplier is also integrating its software with Volvo Trucks, Mack Trucks, Hino Trucks, Ford Motor Co. and General Motors Co.
Telogis, based in Aliso Viejo, California, provides technology designed to help fleets track their vehicles, monitor driver and vehicle performance, automate regulatory compliance and implement commercial navigation.
