Thompson, Heniff Reach Nikola BEV Agreement

Thompson Truck Centers, a member of the Nikola Corp., sales and service dealer network, announced that Heniff Transportation Systems reached an agreement to acquire 10 Nikola Tre BEV trucks.
Upon the successful initial deployment of the 10 units into its bulk transport operation, Heniff has agreed to pursue the placement of an additional 90 trucks into its fleet.
Deliveries are expected to begin in the first half of 2022.

Nashville, Tenn.-based Thompson reported the agreement is a fleet-as-a-service model in which Thompson will provide the sales, service, maintenance and energy infrastructure required to operate the Nikola Tre BEV trucks.
The Heniff family of companies, based in Oak Park, Ill., provides liquid bulk transportation, food-grade hauling, rail transloading, ISO (International Organization for Standardization) depot operations, tank cleaning and maintenance.
