TMW Cites First-Quarter Upturns

Trucking software provider TMW Systems said it was “pleased” with its first-quarter financial performance and production output.

Net revenue rose 35.6% and new license sales gained 52.2% from the same period last year, TMW President David Wangler said late Monday.

“Individually these figures are impressive, but together they underscore the strength of continued market demand for both TMWSuite and TruckMate,” two of the company’s main products, he said in a statement.

The company also launched its OnRoute mobile dispatch system in partnership with Qualcomm and Sprint in the quarter.

TMW said earlier this year it did not expect a slowdown in ’07 sales, despite a possible downturn in heavy-truck production.
