TransForce Inc.’s fourth-quarter net income rose to C$41.7 million, or 41 cents a share, from C$34.8 million, or 36 cents, a year earlier, the Montreal-based trucking and logistics company said Wednesday.
Revenue climbed 36% to C$736 million, the company said in a statement.
TransForce said its acquisitions of IE Miller in November, Loomis Express in June and Dynamex in February 2011 contributed revenue of C$202 million in the fourth quarter.
For the full year, net income slipped to C$102.2 million, or $1.06 per share, from C$102.7 million, or $1.07, in 2010. Revenue for the year rose 34% to C$2.7 billion.
