Transoft Solutions Inc., a provider of transportation engineering design and analysis software, acquired Keysoft Solutions Ltd., according to a July 22 news release.
Keysoft Solutions, developers of Building Information Modeling software for traffic management and landscape planning and design, has been a close partner and reseller of Transoft Solutions products in the United Kingdom since 2005, company officials said.
Keysoft Solutions will continue to operate, manage and support operations and customers from its head office in Warwickshire, United Kingdom.
The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Keysoft Solutions was formed in 1998 and has since been a major developer of specialized BIM application software including industry standard products such as KeySign, KeyLines, KeySignals and KeyScape. Keysoft Solutions’ portfolio of products are used daily by traffic, road safety, street lighting, highways maintenance engineering and landscape professionals worldwide, according to Transoft officials.
Transoft Solutions, based in Vancouver, British Columbia, develops specialized software for transportation, aviation and civil infrastructure professionals. Founded in 1991, the company operates in more than 130 countries serving more than 50,000 customers across local and federal agencies, consulting firms, airport authorities and ports. — Transport Topics
